Bowen Health - Wabash welcomes new Nurse Practitioner

Bowen Health – Wabash is welcoming board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner Kimberly Richard to its practice by opening a special day of appointments for existing or new patients, ages newborn and up.
Individuals can schedule a wellness appointment with Ms. Richard on Friday, January 31 between 8 AM and 3 PM. They can also conveniently schedule a mental health assessment during the same appointment with licensed mental health counselor Matthew Riggle.
Ms. Richard believes in patient-centered care and encourages active participation in health decisions. So, she values the time she spends with her patients.
“It is important to me that my patients feel listened to,” Ms. Richard said. “I tell them that I want them to feel like our appointment is really a conversation. I want to help them take an active role in making decisions to achieve their health goals and the added bonus of being able to see a mental health provider in the same visit just makes their goals that much easier to achieve.”
