Patients well served by pharmacy at Bowen Health Clinic Huntington

One year ago, Bowen Health Clinic partnered with Genoa Healthcare to provide on-site pharmacy services to its patients in Huntington. Today, the partnership continues to be good news for people seeking to live healthier lives longer. 

“Genoa Healthcare has been an amazing resource for our patients,” said Bowen Health Clinic Psychiatrist Dr. Ambreen Ghori. “It’s convenient for patients to get medications in the same building immediately after their appointment. If there are questions or issues with medications, pharmacists can talk directly with the prescriber, resolving any questions almost immediately. It is integrative care at its height,” Dr. Ghori said. 

Bowen Center is continuing its shift to integrative health care providing primary health care and mental health care—at sites across northern Indiana.

“This is how health care should be,” said Dr. Courtney Smith, Genoa Healthcare Pharmacy Manager. She enjoys meeting the challenge of working with Bowen Health Clinic to provide convenient and effective care.

The pharmacy can fill any medication for Bowen Health Clinic patients in Huntington. For added convenience, patients can transfer their prescriptions from other pharmacies to the Genoa Healthcare Pharmacy. The pharmacy provides a unique pill pack that sorts medications by time of day. They can also mail prescriptions to patients unable to come in for pick up. These conveniences are offered with no extra charge to the patient.
